Chip graduated from Carthage College with degrees in Economics, International Political Economy, and Communications. He spent several years working and traveling overseas before moving to Washington, D.C. to work at a think tank and pursue a Masters in Economics at George Mason University. He believes that Biblical and economic principles are often complementary, and looks for ways to effectively and persuasively apply them to politics and society. He is also an aspiring home chef.
